COVID-19 Announcement

To Our Valued Clients:

First and foremost, we would like to assure you that we will remain open until the government says otherwise. In the veterinary industry, we are used to infectious disease protocol – because we deal with it every day.

We have always paid close attention to the cleanliness of our facility, and now we are taking extra precautions to ensure the health and safety of every client and team member that walks through our doors. We have stepped up the cleaning of frequently touched surfaces. We use a professional strength virucidal and allow it to have surface contact for the recommended 10 minutes. In addition, we are scheduling our appointments to allow for social distancing.

As government protocols recommend, we encourage clients over 65 as well as those at risk of infection to remain at home. We also ask that clients who have a fever or are showing signs of sickness to remain at home. If you are at risk, or simply prefer to avoid contact but need to bring your pet in, we are happy to come out to your car and bring your pet in for care.

Please do not postpone care (including urgent exams, food or prescription refills) for your pet out of fear. We have several offerings to help you care for your pet and minimize your exposure. You can request appointments and refills of food and prescriptions online. You will be contacted via text or phone call.

We also offer telemedicine. We can examine your pet using your smart phone or other online camera device and you consult with the doctor in real time on your pet’s health. There are a limited number of conditions that qualify for this out-of-house visit. Your pet must be a current patient at our practice for this to be within the Texas State Board of Veterinary Medicine statute for veterinarian-client-patient relationship (VCPR). We can, however, accept your pet in-house and have a doctor consult via telemedicine.

What if your pet is not a current patient? We can establish a VCPR fairly easily.

  4. A team member will call you to verify the information and confirm details of your visit.
